I know it's been a while since you've updated this blog but I just want to say thank you for everything you've done. This has helped me so much as a relatively new im@s fan, and I wouldn't have been able to get into im@s as much as I have without this blog.
Hello, I know a page where you upload idol content, not only from The Idolm@ster, but also Love Live, Revue, D4DJ... If you want more information talk to me, and I'll send you their link so you can talk about it, since they upload everything there, music, lives...
I would suggest, like the commenter above stated to zip your files, since allows you to share the files more easily and saves the memory inside of it.
I would also suggest doing what other websites like Hikari no Akari, who use a plethora of file sources. For instance they use Mega, Google Drive, MediaFire and such to secure some amount of safety. I would also recommend you use ouo.press, this will give you some money from the clicks of the downloads and keeps bots away, since it does some anti-bot functions to it.
I would suggest you widen your circle. You are quite right in saying no one person can keep the archive running alone, that is why you need other people to be entrusted with the maintenance and further functioning of the archive.
Finally, I would suggest if you have sufficient funds and desire, buy a domain for yourself. This will give you the most flexibility, in comparison to this website and will allow you to monitor the traffic and you can add further anti-bot support if needed. But, this is if you have funds and the want to pursue this endeavor.
Anyway this is just my two-cents, learning this from other sites who have archives like this. If you need new songs from the series, I would suggest using those sites like Hokari no Akari, despite its somewhat shady appearance, I would say they are harmless when it comes to malware.
Thank you for your time and good luck on your endeavors
Oh and here's a link to a video for the Tron malware cleanup, if you are worried about malware for the download stuff
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rf1Y5o9FogA&t=1s
Disclaimer: Tron could delete some applications or files from your Hard Drive, but files like mp3, jpegs, mp4s are fine. Just applications that the cleanup perceives as threats, so use at your own discretion.
I am so happy you are back!! ;^; I was hoping for this day. Unfortunately I don't know an alternative but I hope someone can help you out! ;^;

By the way I dont believe myself to be an expert on this, so I recommend doing research of your own to improve this if you can.
